Scholarship Info	Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) invites qualified students who are currently studying to apply for a convertible loan. The loan is open to students who are currently studying for their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Dentistry overseas.
Criteria	Applicant or one or both parents are Malaysian citizens with Bumiputera status Applicant is not older than 30 years of age on 31 December 2012 Applicant is not currently a recipient of any other loans or scholarships Applicant has never faced a termination of scholarship/loan due to disciplinary actions or illegal activities Fulfils the requirements by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), MOHE and MARA. MMC Requirements: At least a credit in BM and English At least Band 4 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET) or equivalent; AND SPM - At least a B in 5 subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths (or Add Maths) and one other subject, OR General Certificate of Education Ordinary (O-Levels) - At least B in five subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths (or Add Maths) and one other subject, OR, Unified Examination Certificate - At least B4 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Add Maths, OR, Monash University Foundation Pre-University Programme (MUFY)/ University of South Wales (UNSW) Foundation/ Western Australia Curriculum Council/HSC Sydney Australia/Trinity College Foundation Studies/ Australian Universities Foundation Programmes/ South Australian Matriculation (SAM)/ Victoria Certificate of Education, Australia Year 12 - an average of 80% or 80% ATAR or equivalent and 80% in each of these subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics (or Mathematics) OR, National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3/ New Zealand Bursary - 80% in each of these subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, OR Canadian Pre-University (CPU)/ Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP/ Canadian Grade 12/13: An average of 80%; and at least 80% in these subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics (or Mathematics); OR Indian Pre-University - 70% in each of these subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics, OR International Baccalaureate (IB) - 30 points with a minimum of 2 science subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 1 in Standard Level and; received a minimum score of 4 in each of these subjects:   Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics For more requirements from MMC, click HERE MOHE Requirements Received a No Objection Certification (NOC) from the Ministry of Hihger Education, Malaysia MARA Requirements Completed at least 1 year of the bachelor degree programme with a CGPA of 3.00.
